Millennium Falcon Smuggler’s Run

If you are a hard core Star Wars fan then you know about the Millennium Falcon--the ship that in the first episode that Han Solo drives. If you love the Millennium Falcon then you probably always wanted to drive it. Well one of the newest attractions that Disney World has to offer is in Galaxy’s Edge and in it you can drive the Millennium Falcon.

When you go into Galaxy’s Edge through the cave entrance you feel like you are transported into another place. It is easy to see where the ride is because you will see a life size replica of the Millennium Falcon and on the ship there is a mini Falcon. It is pretty small and it is there instead of a hidden Mickey.

When you go into the queue you will get to see the base of Hondo Tanaka.  He is in Star Wars the Clone Wars series and in Star Wars Rebels. Near the beginning  of the day the line will be long but not as long as Avatar Flight of Passage. When you're in the queue you can hear two people who work Hondo and they talk about random things and it can be funny. When you get indoors you will get to see some scenery like an area where some people gambled and there are also guns and places where they stored them. In that same room there will be an engine that when you are waiting they might test it and it fails. After that you will be able to see an overview of the Millennium Falcon and you will board once you get past this area.

You will enter a tube and then you will enter the Millennium Falcon and you get to walk around a little bit and you will get to see the main area of the Falcon. Sadly you do not get to walk and see everything and you also do not get to play the game that you see in the movies. You will get to go on the ride, a crew member will tell you what each job will do and how you do your job. There are three jobs that you can be. The first one is the pilot and there are two different kinds of pilots. One of them will make the ship go left and right and the other one will make the ship go up and down. There are two gunners that when you press a button to shoot, there are two modes that you can do to shoot. You can do a manual where you press three buttons to shoot up down and center and it will still kinda aim for you and you will get more credits if you do the manual but the auto is also good. And then there is the engineer which is the people that will repair the ship and do all of the mechanical things.

Before you go into the cockpit you will be debriefed on what you are going to go and get. If there are empty seats then there will be an auto pilot for that job. When you take off you will be able to control and get to use the controls and you will go to Corelia and you will go and attack a shipment of Coaxium which is hyperdrive fuel. When you are done with the mission you will be told what you earned and what you have to pay him for the damages of the ship and you get to see how much you have made. When you're done you will go out of the Falcon and you will go out right beside the main entrance. This ride is one of the best and it can be out of this galaxy.
