Disney Cruise

Disney Cruises are another way to go on vacation if you want that Disney magic that everyone enjoys so much but this time at sea. Disney Cruises are amazing as the price includes a trip to their private island if you go on specific Bahamas and Caribbean cruises which is most of them. There are currently four different ships: The Magic, The Fantasy, The Dream, and The Wonder. The Dream is the newest ship and has the newest tech but as one can expect has higher prices for its cruises.
There are many things about a cruise that makes this type of vacation enjoyable. They have many great dining options and 24 hour room service. There are all-you-can-eat buffets and even ice cream and candy shops. Also they can substitute almost anything for dietary needs. In addition to wonderful food choices, there are many activities. There are pools and outdoor recreation activities, nightclubs, youth clubs for the kids, movie theaters and some broadway musicals. The outdoor activities include miniature golf which is 9 holes on The Dream and The Fantasy as well as a basketball court, shuffleboard, pingpong, and a track which is 400 yards per lap. Also there’s an inner tube ride called the AquaDuck which is available on The Dream and The Fantasy it involves about a 4-deck drop and 765 ft of snaking tubes. There’s a Mickey pool available on The Dream and The Fantasy and Goofy’s pool available on The Magic and The Wonder. Then there’s the Aqua Dunk where you stand on a trap door and get sent eventually after a countdown through a 212 foot slide that descends a total of about 4 decks. Adults in particular enjoy just relaxing on the deck and catching some sun.
When you enter the ship they announce your party name and lots of crewmembers welcome you aboard almost as if you were royalty entering a fancy ball. Of course it wouldn’t be the same with a picture to remember your magical time at sea. Disney cruises are also very friendly to those with disabilities. They will do whatever it takes to make sure all their guests have the time of their lives.
There are many destinations to choose from such as Alaska, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, and more. Also depending on what cruise you take and what day of the year there might be special themed days like Star Wars day at sea or Marvel day at sea as well as Halloween themed and Christmas themed around the corresponding holidays. One of my favorite parts is the fireworks. Disney is the only cruise line that shoots fireworks at sea.
Not only can you do a Disney vacation at Disneyland or Disney World or go on a cruise, you can do both at once in one trip. This is what is known as Disney Vacations by Land and Sea. However, if you don’t want to do the parks you don’t have to and instead can enjoy scenic rides or enjoy yourself in a city. Cruises have activities that you can enjoy on land when they stop at ports along the way. You can choose excursions or just go shopping. Disney has so many amazing options to choose from and they’re all great. It just depends on what you want to do.
