In Frontier Land there is a ride that is “the wildest ride in the wilderness”. This train ride is called Big Thunder Mountain and it is a loud train ride through caves and mining sites. When you are going to the queue you will see a big rock that you can see from many different places around the theme park. It will look like you are going into an entrance to a mine and there are a few interactive things in the queue. You can turn a wheel and you can then push a dynamite lever and if you look in the distance then you will see an explosion of water from a hole. 

The ride was not one of the original rides so it is less out dated then some of the rides. The ride is supposed to be bumpy and loud so you will not get a very smooth ride. There will be times where it will seem very loud but it is supposed to be loud when you go under a cave. There are a few going up and then down on a chain. It will sound like it is rusty but you are perfectly safe.  

The ride is not very fast but it is still a thrill ride. It will go up to 36 miles an hour but will not feel as fast as Space Mountain whose top speed is 28 miles an hour. When you go to the beginning of the ride you will enter a cave where you might get a little wet from some mist and there is also a waterfall that might splash you a little. Then you will go down and you see the rest of the ride and you will go up and down side to side and it is not a very fast ride. There is a lot of scenery that you will see like a big skeleton of an animal and you can see the rest of the land in places of the ride. 

It will be a different experience if you ride it at night there will be lights and it will feel much different. You will want to see both of them because in some places on the ride it will feel much like a different ride. There is no gift store at the end when you get off of the ride. The ride is one that if you want to ride you either want to get a fast pass or you will need to wait around 45 minutes to get on the ride or when it is at the height of the wait times it might be around 1 hour or more. So you will want to get a fast pass for this ride if you want to ride it. It is a two passenger car and there is no single rider wait area so if you are alone then you will have to wait a while to go onto the ride.
