Favorite Attraction of the Future World by Reece Smith
Out of the few attractions that are in Future World such as Living with the Land, Soarin’, and Mission Space I think that Test Track is the best. I mean who wouldn’t want to be basically in a convertible going 65 miles per hour. Test Track is not only known as a thrilling ride where you get to ride a convertible but also you get to design your own car while you wait to go onto the track.
So it gets its name because you test your cars on their track and there are four tests to test your capability, efficiency, responsiveness, and power. The cool thing about designing a car is you can choose to make it however you want with whatever cosmetics as long as they are available. Plus with the car creation you get the chance to make a truck, car, or smart car and from there you can change how it looks but each piece changes one of the four attributes of capability, efficiency, responsiveness, and power. Everyone in your ride vehicle has created their own car so you get to compete with other cars during the ride to see which one is best in each category.
Also after the ride you can compare yourself to the rest of the people that day. You can also create a car commercial with your car which you get to email to yourself. You can compete against other people on a race track with your custom car which means that your stats affect how well your car responds, what capability it has, it’s efficiency, and it’s power. Also there are areas to take a picture with your car on different backgrounds. Also if you really wanted to, you could get a Test Track license with your face on it.
Test Track is also one of those rides where once you ride it you’ll want to go on it again and again until before you know it the day is mostly gone. However it isn’t always worth waiting in line for because after a certain time it may not feel rewarding and you’ll have missed too much other time to do something else. Thankfully Test Track is on the Fastpass list and you can get a fastpass for it but they may not always be available so make sure to plan accordingly. Also if you want there is a single rider line that people can take usually it’s faster. However, if you’re in a party you most likely will be seperated. Also you need to plan according to the weather because if the weather is really bad they’ll close the ride and you most likely won’t be able to ride it that day.
Another cool fact is that Chevrolet sponsors Test Track and makes its vehicles also at the entrance of the queue you can see the latest Chevrolet models, a car broken down, and what they plan to do with cars in the future. There are actual late model cars for you to look at and sit in.
