When you go to the Magic Kingdom you want to go and get on one of the most popular rides like Space Mountain. But in 2014 there was a new ride that is still very popular today. This is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train which is in my opinion one of the best rides at the Magic Kingdom. This ride is based on the first colored movie where the mouth and audio sync together. My family and I love to go on this ride every time we go to the park.
This ride is for all ages and is a ride that you will want to go on again and again. This ride is usually pretty busy and it might be up to an hour wait to get onto the ride if you don't have a Fastpass. When you get a little way into the queue there will be a few things that you can do to pass the time and not make you bored. The first thing that you can do is find some gems that will be floating down a stream and you can match them with the certain shapes that you can have in front of you. The next thing that you can do is there is a musical fountain that you can wave your hand under and it will play some music and there will be a colored light. When you go into a cave there will be some barrels that when you spin them one of the seven dwarfs appear on the ceiling. But when you spin all of them at the same time Snow White will show up in the middle. It is fun you see all of them there and it will be able to entertain you for a little bit.
When you get through there you will be boarded into the mine train and then you will take off. Each car can hold up to two people per row and four people per car. The ride is not that long, it is around 3 minutes. As you go around, you will go on turns the mine train will wiggle side to side to make it a much better experience when you are taking the big turns. There are a few hills on the ride and they are not that big so if you have motion sickness then it won't be bad. After you go down the first hill you will end up in the mine where the seven dwarfs are mining. You will be able to see some interesting animatronics that is very new in technology. They will look very interesting and they move like they are human. If you look closely then you will be able to see a hidden Mickey that is made of gems.
After you see all of the seven dwarfs you will go up a hill and then you will hear the song that you will get into your head. This is the biggest hill out of all of them (out of the two). This hill will dip you down and then level quickly and then dip you down again. And then you go through twists and turns and when you slow down you will be able to see the house that is in the movie and you get to see the dwarfs making music and dancing with Snow White and you will also see the evil queen outside the door. While you wait to get off the ride you can go shake back and forth and you can make the car sway side to side. Even though your picture is taken on the ride, there will be no area that you are able to get your pictures. Instead, you will be able to get them on your photo pass. There are two different areas where they take pictures and what is cool is that you will get a cool little slow-mo video of you riding the ride. The seven dwarfs mine train is a great experience for the whole family and I highly suggest you go and ride it.
